What you don't know

You know me.
You may think you don't,
But trust me, you do.
That weird kid sitting in
The back of the classroom,
Doodling in his notebook?
That's me.
The guy that everyone thinks is
A few bats short of a belfry?
That's me.

You may know me,
But you haven't got a clue
As to who I am.

You don't know that I spend my days
Battling with the endless chaos in my head;
That I'm "addicted" to video games
Because I can't handle reality;
That all I want is to feel like I'm normal.
That there have been numerous times
When I've asked myself:
"If I died, would anybody miss me?
Would anybody even notice?"

How can you say you want to help
When you don't even know what's wrong?
